Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Contracts Manager in the contracting process and contract issues/contracts as they relate to real estate development, design, procurement and construction regulations and terms and conditions.Review, opine, and analyze contract requirements and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and company objectives and approach.Timely review of contracts, change orders, modifications and amendments.Ensure that all contract changes are recorded and communicated with the appropriate staff.Develop, Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies.Draft, edit and support the client procurement process and internal Project Management and Cost Management Teams with RFQ/RFPs as well as from a contractual, compliance, business and financial perspective.Assist in the generation, review and negotiation of consultant contracts.Develop internal relationships across the company in support of company mission and vision.Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts, client procurement and third party personnel, as may be required.Manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines.On all standard and nonstandard contracts and provide red-lined recommendations.Maintain up to date contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, executed documents and other documents for all projects.Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.).Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance.Assist in contract close-out, extension or renewal.Assist in finalizing CMGI’s agreements with Internal Contracts Teams, ensuring Project Set-up Forms are complete and tracked through the process.Knowledge & Skills Required:
Construction experience, gained through work in the industry. Experience with different project delivery methods (CM at Risk; design-bid-build; design-build; IPD).Working knowledge in accounting, business finance, law, contracts, organization and management (preferred).Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), and (preferably) AIA contract software.Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) (preferred).Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree is required. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.1 year of experience in contract administration role in a corporate environment.#LI-SJ1
