The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Construction Manager (SCM) to become an integral part of our dynamic projects team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for managing individual projects or a portfolio of projects, ensuring their successful delivery while upholding our reputation for excellence in quality and service.
As a senior member of the team, you will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, business functions, company management, and client representatives. Your ability to foster strong relationships and ensure seamless coordination will play a critical role in maintaining our standing as a trusted provider of high-quality project solutions.
You will oversee the operational processes essential for project completion, ensuring that both staff members and vendors meet the highest standards of performance. By closely monitoring the needs of the client, you will ensure projects run smoothly while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes and improve client feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute construction sequencing strategies.Plan and manage manning and mobilisation of blue-collar workers to maximise productivity.Conduct construction risk assessments for high-risk tasks.Oversee 4WLH readiness, including materials, workpacks, resources, equipment, and permits.Monitor and report on progress to stakeholders.Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives.Engage and liaise effectively with stakeholders.Perform critical path analysis and align with construction planning.Implement mitigation strategies for schedule slippage.Maintain cost and budget awareness and ensure effective financial management.Ensure quality standards are met and rework is minimised.Foster and maintain strong client relationships to identify and pursue additional opportunities.Benefits:
