We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** **POSITION OVERVIEW** : Responsibility for Construction Engineering for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with Jacobs and Mace delivery partners. QIC is providing strategic direction on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Project Director. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** : + Promotes safety and safe systems of work + Manage the development and implementation of construction plans + Manage the Inspection and testing materials used in Waste Water Treatment Plants/ Facilities construction operations + Liaise/ collaborate with relevant stakeholders- QIC, MOMRAH (Ministry Of Municipal and Rural Affairs), Civil Defense, + Monitoring and evaluating construction processes to ensure compliance with regulations + Collaborating with the operations team to implement improvements in quality control procedures + Leads planning and management of the program and ensures operational consistency across the program. + Problem solving skills in relation to construction on site and wider activities of the project + Coordinate with QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors. + Implement agreed strategies, through delivery of PMP’s and other key documents and approaches in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practice. + Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams. + Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. + Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program. + Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments. + Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required. + Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary. + Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures. + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. + Participates in development of job safety practices. + Prepare the needed reports. + Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures. + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. **PREFERRED** **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:** + Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or similar qualifications, or with minimum 15 years’ experience on construction projects, specifically Waste Water Treatment Plants (WTP)/ Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) + Experience delivering major infrastructure Works + Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts. + Project Management Certified is a plus. + Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken. **SKILLS/COMPETENCIES** : + A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on the construction and delivery of waste water treatment plants/ sewage treatment plants + Experience of managing Design & Build of Waste Water treatment Plants (WWTP) + Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or similar + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar + Mentoring and guiding less experienced members of the team + Target driven + Experience of managing a large group of multi-disciplinary engineers, designers, and technical support personnel + Thorough knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and engineering standards + Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex engineering projects + Proven ability for directing work involving complex technical situations and working under pressure + Possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments + Demonstrable ability to work effectively with diverse teams of people, from contractors to local government officials + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English + Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with a value of $50M or more Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
