Role description:
Arcadis Canada is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join the Arcadis Construction Services (ACS) Team. This role can be based anywhere in Ontario, and travel to project site is a requirement. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of field construction/project management experience in the construction industry. The candidate must have a successful history with developing business and leading large scale construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in one of the best-qualified firms in the country.
Role accountabilities:
The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Managing field personnel, subcontractors, and office support staff in the safe execution of remedial construction projects. Management of projects, financial planning, change management and cost control. Establish and maintain professional business relations with our clients. Interface effectively with clients, coworkers, and others. Market and promote remedial construction services. Managing and working collaboratively with contractor(s), local government(s), and other agencies having jurisdiction and the Owner to solve project challenges representing the Owner's best interest. Creating budgets and develop project schedulesThe successful candidate must also have knowledge and ability to quickly understand principals of construction and contractor means and methods, strong communication skills, both oral and written. They must be able to independently write reports and correspondence, and have experience in managing large value construction projects, estimating, client/business development and proposal development.
Qualifications & Experience:
10+ years Construction experience, 7+ years in Project Management 5+ years’ experience in environmental remediation and/or heavy civil construction projects preferred Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Environmental Sciences or similar field or equivalent experienceWhy Arcadis?

The salary range for this position is $95,000-125,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
