Senior Construction Project Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY**
Supervise, train and mentor Project Managers and related personnel.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Primary duties and responsibilities but are not limited to:
+ Ensure construction projects are being completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality;
+ Oversee multiple Project Manager teams;
+ Oversee team member task assignments;
+ Track progress of team member task assignments;
+ Track the progress of multiple construction projects based on team reports, meetings, and site visits;
+ Advise team members and provide guidance to resolve issues and questions;
+ Oversee the preparation of change order and time extension requests;
+ Maintain client relationships and satisfaction;
+ Prepare and track budgets and financial reports;
+ Take an active role in projects as necessary to resolve issues;
+ Prepare regular reports on project and team status; and
+ Report to Vice President of Construction.
+ Secondary duties include the following Corporate Quality Control functions:
1. Developing, maintaining, and ensuring implementation of the QC program;
2. Periodic reviews of implemented QC processes;
3. Evaluation of any recommendations made by the project team regarding QC processes;
4. Providing support to the project team in ensuring that the quality of products and services provided to the client is in accordance with the specifications described in the contract, project plans, drawings, specifications, scope of work, contract, subcontracts, and other project directives;
5. Supervision and evaluation of company QC Managers;
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
· Graduate of a four year United States accredited college or university, or equivalent, with a degree in one of the following: engineering, architecture, construction management, engineering technology, building construction, or building science.
· 5-10 years construction experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in management of construction work.
· Knowledge of construction quality control procedures.
· Possess construction safety knowledge and training, and familiarity with EM-385.
· Thorough knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials and equipment. Able to read plans and specifications and compare them with various aspects of construction in progress, and detect errors in construction projects.
· Able to communicate well with subcontractors, design consultants, public, and owners.
· Good computer skills.
· Must be able to read and speak English.
· Must be able to work nights and weekends.
· Must be a leader capable of working well in a team environment.
