Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Construction Resident Project Representative, we'll count on you to:
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documentsMaintain accurate daily records of the contractor’s daily activities and the work performed, and of the labor, equipment and materials usedReview construction materials for Contract complianceTrack quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptanceAttend and/or chair construction progress meetingsConduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systemsIdentify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists and maintain until correctedDevelop record documentation for engineer review/acceptanceAssist with project audit/closeoutWork under general supervision of a Design Project ManagerSupervise and direct the activities of junior Resident Project Representatives and Construction Inspectors, testing services and subconsultantsTravel

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent experienceA minimum of 5 years progressive civil construction experienceMust have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing constructionMust possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documentsMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packagesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
