What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Consultant, Digital Analytics and integration , reports to the Director of Digital Analytics & Integration. This role is responsible for leading the development of roadmaps, identifying external partnership opportunities, and establishing technical/data specifications, frameworks, and tagging methodologies to enhance CIBC’s Digital Analytics and Customer Data Platform (CDP) use cases.

How you’ll Succeed:
Collaboration - Oversee the standards, configurations, and governance of the Adobe stack, which includes Analytics, AAM, AEP, CDP, Target, etc. Drive the establishment of standards and plans for Adobe integrations with other partner solutions. Collaborate with our Technology Partners, Analytics, and Marketing teams to uphold the standards and architecture of analytics tagging based on our established data layer. Analyze and consolidate information from various data sources, including web/app analytics and offline data, utilizing diverse reporting tools.
Communication - Convey factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation to executive leadership. Conduct ongoing weekly assessments of digital alerts and metrics performance, proactively identifying dependencies and risks that may affect the achievement of annual targets. Communicate these insights to the Director of Digital Analytics and Integration and key enterprise partners. Identify new digital analytics opportunities to address existing or potential gaps. Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thoughtfully create a wide variety of presentation and communication materials (e.g. key messages, communication plans, tactical deliverables, adhoc deliverables, etc.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Digital banking partners and other stakeholders within the bank in both business and technical functions to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects, ensure alignment with our bank's strategic objectives, planning and presentations. This role acts as a bridge between different teams, facilitating high communication and collaboration and involves a high degree of stakeholder management. Research and implement digital industry trends, including digital marketing ecosystems that leverage multiple data points for real-time testing, personalization, and optimization, provide ongoing technical, qualitative, and quantitative input on issues and initiatives.
Leading and Mentoring - Support end-to-end deliverables as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology, data and business professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 5 to 7 years of work experience in designing Digital Analytics solutions for Single Page Application Frameworks and Mobile Apps, including third-party SDK integrations, digital tagging and tracking, campaign tracking, A/B testing, and client journey personalization and optimization tactics.
You can demonstrate 5 to 7 years of work experience in JavaScript, SQL, Python, or R. It’s an asset if you have knowledge of automated tagging and validation techniques, with exposure to tools such as Observe Point.
You are a certified professional. A university degree in business, mathematics, marketing, finance, information management, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. It’s an asset if you have a Master’s degree in these fields.
You can demonstrate knowledge of MarTech product engineering, platform architecture and integration, data development, or related fields, familiarity with data modeling, statistical methodologies, and metrics, and their application to business measurement.
