Your Responsibilities as a Senior Consultant: + Project Leadership: Take ownership of complex modernization projects, from planning to execution, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. + Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and aligning them with modernization strategies and cloud solutions. + Technical Strategy: Develop and oversee technical strategies for refactoring, replatforming, and rehosting legacy IT systems using cloud-native services. + Architectural Design: Design scalable and secure cloud architectures, including landing zones, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. + Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior consultants and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and skill development. + Dependency Analysis: Lead comprehensive workload analyses, including dependency mapping for services, applications, middleware, and infrastructure. + Financial & Technical Assessments: Provide in-depth financial and technical analyses to determine the optimal cloud migration and modernization strategies. + Migration Planning: Develop and coordinate complex modernization and migration roadmaps, including phased execution and risk mitigation plans. + Cloud Native Integration: Spearhead the implementation of cloud-native services to optimize workload performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. + Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present management summaries, project updates, and strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders. + Best Practice Implementation: Ensure adherence to ITIL, COBIT, and other IT service management methodologies in all aspects of cloud operations. Required Technical and Professional Experience + Deep knowledge of leading cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services, including infrastructure, platform, and native development tools. + 3-5 years of experience in IT management consulting, with proven ability to align technology solutions with business goals. + Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive successful outcomes. + Strong understanding of IT operations, service management processes (ITIL, COBIT), and governance frameworks. + Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Experience as a Cloud Architect / Specialist AI Architect / Specialist or similar + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences + Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum construct to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments and development of strategies and approaches to optimize the implementation of IT or cloud resources and capabilities + Subject matter expertise in at least one platform (e.g. cloud computing, cloud hyperscaler, X86, mainframe, midrange) + Strong communication skills in German and English + Willingness to travel across Germany and collaborate in diverse and dynamic environments.
