What You Will Do:

Guidehouse provides comprehensive and customer-centric solutions for clean energy programs including energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, energy storage, renewable energy, and sustainability programs. We help our clients visualize and identify market opportunities for clean energy programs and then work with them to build and strengthen those programs.

We partner with our clients to design innovative programs, evaluate and optimize program contributions towards climate, energy, and other goals, and continuously improve the program experience for customers.  Key responsibilities for this position may include:

Analyze industry market data with a focus on how utility customers interact with and experience energy-related technologies and programs Assess energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies through engineering analysis, energy modeling, and field workPerform complex technical and economic analyses, spreadsheet creation, and project/task management.Creatively develop visually compelling and human-centric insights and recommendationsDevelop strategies and solutions for clients through comprehensive reports and compelling presentationsParticipate in team meetings and communication threads on email and Teams as needed to provide proactive status updates and to communicate/elevate issues as necessaryCollaborate with team leadership keeping them abreast of project progress and important developmentsDrive and demonstrate our cultural values through exemplary leadership behavior, people-first approaches, and cultivation of an inclusive, diverse, and safe environment

What You Will Need:

Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years (not inclusive of internships)Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2024 and graduate by Summer of 2025)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the countryNo sponsorship is available for this position

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Econometrics, Business, Social or Political Science, Environmental Studies, and/or related majorsStrong leadership experience, evidenced by the ability to take ownership, manage self and team workloads, and work successfully in team settings5+ years of related experience Interest and/or experience in clean energy, energy efficiency, and/or sustainabilityAspirations to develop expertise in energy systems with a long-term goal of contributing to significant energy transition projectsExperience conducting primary and secondary research such as surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groupsExperience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environmentPossesses strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to engage in client and team discussions and communicate with varying audiencesHeightened attention to detailAn inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
