Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Detailed Job Description: Gather and document existing processes in the client Personnel Management Information system (PMIS) Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements of the future system Write draft version of Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ), if needed Document and assist in the evaluation of vendor responses to the RFP / RFQ Attend, evaluate, and document vendor demonstrations Assist in the vendor selection Assist in the overseeing the implementation of the selected solution Create and maintain the overall project plan and schedule. Conduct regular project status meetings and publish meeting minutes Present weekly reports defining project progress, milestones, deliverables, problems, and solutions. Brief the Executive Steering Committee on project progress issues and risks every 2 - 4 weeks Create and maintain a project risks and issues log Work to resolve or escalate risks and issues as necessary to avoid negative project impacts. Solve technical and non-technical problems throughout implementation of the project. Coordinate with other client Office of Information Technology internal units. Create and maintain project budgets and related budget materials Create the test plans and use cases. Assist with executing tests. Develop a training outline and define the necessary resources needed.
