The opportunity
 
As a Corporate Intelligence Senior Consultant, you will handle complex, multi-jurisdictional projects, including integrity due diligence reviews on companies and individuals and fraud investigations, from both research and project management perspectives. You will oversee the work of junior analysts and perform independent, high-quality research and analysis while juggling multiple assignments. Often expected to advance research with minimal supervision, you will showcase flexibility, critical thinking, and the ability to uncover relevant information. Your expertise will be vital in providing clients with insightful and actionable intelligence, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
 
Your key responsibilities
 

Conduct comprehensive background investigations and due diligence on companies and their executives. Evaluate risk-relevant information from various sources, including online media articles, internet references, proprietary databases, and global sanction and regulatory lists. Perform extensive research to identify and assess risk-relevant information. Access and analyze a broad range of open-source information and public records to support investigative efforts. Coordinate team output by briefing and managing junior staff members and external resources. Ensure the efficient and effective completion of investigative tasks and projects. Maintain case deadlines and provide verbal and/or written updates to clients. Ensure the timely reporting of client deliverables and address any client inquiries or concerns promptly. Support the research and drafting of project proposals and contribute to broader business development initiatives. Assist in identifying new business opportunities and expanding client relationships. Provide training and support to junior analysts. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.

 
To qualify for the role, you must have
 

Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate intelligence, due diligence, forensic investigations, or a related field. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and AML, KYC and anti-bribery principles. Proven team management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior staff members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach. Proficiency in using global and MENA-specific corporate and compliance research tools and databases, as well as Microsoft Office applications. Fluent Arabic and English communication skills

 
Ideally, you’ll also have
 

Working experience in the MENA region Prior experience in consulting firm Proficiency in building and enhancing third-party risk management frameworks Experience in business development, including supporting research and drafting of project proposals and broader business development initiatives.
