Senior Consultant-HR M&A

We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR M&A team at Mercer China. This role will be based in Beijing or Shanghai Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Participate in Mercer’s HR M&A team as a Senior Consultant, with disciplined use of Mercer methodologies and tools. This will include:Achieve the annual UT/Revenue targetDeliver HR M&A and Business Transformation projects, including but not limited to:HR M&A: deal rationale validation, HR compliance review, HR effectiveness review, leadership assessment, long term incentive plan, integration planning, project management, etcBusiness Transformation: market study, data analysis, business plan review, feasibility study, conduct benchmarking survey, discuss the project ideas and solutions and etc.Create deliverable based on project parameters.Develop and maintain relationships with clients; works closely with client to understand client’s expectation and feedback for further improvement and final presentation.Developing clients, draft project proposal, and participate in the bidding meeting.Provides guidance to project team analysts and ensures timely delivery of work and achievement of project objectives; contributes to internal training/sharing.

What you need to have: 

Bachelor degree a must, master degree is preferred3+ years of experience in a corporate and consulting environment, excellent commercial sense and deal knowledgeStrong research and analysis skills, strong focus on attention to detail with sufficient project delivery experiencesFast learner, comfortable with travel and working remotelyAbility to work under tight timeframe and pressure and a good team playerSpeaking, reading and writing fluency in English in a professional setting

Knowledgeable in major areas of HR. Knowledge in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Law (Labor Law or Corporate Law) or Valuation is a plusExperience in HR Consulting, especially in compensation consulting projects or strategy consulting.
