In the area of Supply Chain & Operations you will accompany organizations in the implementation of company-wide end-to-end Supply Chain transformation programs - from strategy and concept to development and implementation.
You will:
Support Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) and Chief Operating Officers (COOs) at leading global companies in designing and executing transformative strategies in Logistics and Digital Fulfillment. As the world becomes increasingly digital and consumer demands evolve, help reshape supply networks to adapt to these fundamental changes. Take a central role in delivering transformative solutions and advising clients and their business partners on driving both revenue growth and cost savings. This includes expertise in transport planning, 3PL/4PL tendering and contracting, lean transportation and warehousing, quality and regulatory compliance. Guide the development and implementation of digitally enabled logistics operating models, such as Global Business Services (GBS), order management, customer service, and reverse logistics. Support the development and execution of comprehensive logistics strategies, integrating advanced analytics capabilities. This includes working with platforms such as SAP EWM and TMS, E2Open, OTM, Blue Yonder etc in close collaboration with Technology teams. Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, hyper automation, the supply chain ecosystem and broader marketplace. Support the business in developing EY knowledge and concepts for our practice, whilst also actively setting up, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships. Establish and strengthen client relationships with the CSCO, as well as COO, CFO, CPO, and Operations executives
Your qualifications – skills for shaping the future
As a Senior Consultant / Manager you have at least 4 years of relevant experience in consulting and/or project leadership experience in the industry in complex and significant transformation programs within Supply Chain.
You have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and rigorous working methods, high motivation and entrepreneurial mindset. Empathetic personality, excellent team leadership skills and enjoy working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Experience in sales activities, e.g. proposal creation / business development, and understanding of business metrics. Proven project management experience, with ability to lead and mobilize cross-functional teams and deliver complex and high-impact programs. Strong interest in digital and some working experience with tools such as SAP EWM and TMS, E2Open, OTM, Blue Yonder etc
You will have meaningful experience in one of the following areas: transportation planning, order management, supply chain control tower, network modelling, physical logistics, lean warehouse operations, warehouse management system, 3PL sourcing / contracting and management, track & trace and logistic visualization, inbound and outbound logistics lead time reduction and cost reduction, GBS and operating model transformation, customer service and reverse logistics.
As an international company, we require excellent English skills. German is an asset; fluent French is desirable. Flexibility including willingness to travel regionally and globally
Preferred locations are Zurich, Basel or Geneva.
