Role Overview
Senior Consultants serve as a crucial aide and advocate for both managers and junior staff. Being senior and yet close to groundwork, they provide support in a variety of roles from proposal development to project execution, progressing from analytical applications to delivering tangible results for clients and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Outcomes:
Strategic Insight:Delivers high quality analytics tapping into established industry contacts, tools and frameworks. Supports seniors and makes recommendations in project scoping and synthesizing overall strategy to solve clients’ problems.
Delivering Results:Sets effective goals and work plans for team members to deliver projects on time and within budget, while ensuring both internal and external client satisfaction. Creates efficiency and productivity by pre-empting and adapting to changes in scope and resource priorities during the project.
Leading and Managing:Leads, designs and independently manages mid to large projects, with minimal supervision. Motivates and mentors junior staff in building and reaching their expected competencies.
Building Client Relations:Builds client relations with a long-term view to identify business opportunities.
Serves as a main client liaison – a trusted source to facilitate decision making and apply solutions practically.
Knowledge and Market Capability:Becomes a core agent in the dissemination of product and service knowledge in and around the project and the team, through being a relative expert in knowledge and practices.
Essential Qualifications
Displays all the essential competencies for a Senior Consultant 3-5 years of prior working experience in similar consulting roles or as an industry professional with relevant responsibilities. A Bachelor’s degree from renowned universities. Advantageous to have MBA or other relevant Masters degree. Fluency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
