Then our ESG & Sustainability Solutions team offers you the perfect place._ **What are you going to do?** As a Senior Consultant specializing in subsidies and funding, you will play a pivotal role in advising owners, users, and developers of commercial real estate on a broad spectrum of funding-related topics within our ESG & Sustainability Solutions team. Collaborating with a diverse group of specialists, you will craft strategic subsidy and funding advice tailored to various client contexts. In this role, you will oversee the entire subsidy project lifecycle, from identification to final declaration. You will engage in a variety of projects, gaining the opportunity to specialize in specific areas. Your projects may include ESG strategy development, portfolio decarbonization planning for large investment managers, ESG program management for major corporations, and sustainability certification projects. You will manage the complete subsidy process for CBRE clients, participate in high-profile construction projects, and support your colleagues with their initiatives. You will be responsible for multiple projects within CBRE, ensuring your colleagues are informed about all regulations for sustainable buildings. Your task is to facilitate a seamless subsidy application process in collaboration with all involved parties. You will actively seek opportunities for growth and development within CBRE, maintain your professional network, and mentor others to take on greater project responsibilities. **About the ESG & Sustainability Solutions team** Our ESG & Sustainability Solutions team comprises more than 310 specialists with a diverse and international background, dedicated to making commercial real estate more sustainable. We do this through collaboration with clients, partners, and all departments of CBRE. We provide advice from strategy through to implementation, both locally in the Netherlands and across Europe. We enjoy working with all these different specialists, throughout the real estate lifecycle, to come up with high-quality solutions for our clients. _Here's what a typical working day as a Senior Consultant in our ESG & Sustainability Solutions team could look like:_ After dropping the kids at school, you head back home to start your working day. You clear your mailbox over a good cup of coffee, avoiding the morning traffic, then set off for a meeting at a client’s office. On your way to the meeting, you call one of the members of the team. You have provided input on a subsidy analysis for a time-sensitive report and want to make sure they understand what is needed to move further with the delivery. You arrive at the client’s office where you meet a colleague from CBRE’s Property Management team. You spend an hour or so with the client, going over a recent proposal you have issued. The proposal is for an green financing plan for some planned refurbishment works at a large office in Amsterdam. This is the first time the client has considered obtaining a subsidy, and requires some guidance through the process. You head to the office to grab lunch with a colleague from another department; you have been meaning to catch up for a while. You have a good chat about things going on in and out of work. You spend the early afternoon doing focused work in a quiet corner of the office. A new piece of legislation has been announced yesterday evening and you have been tasked with briefing the team on it. You spend a couple of hours reading up on it and writing a high-level summary to present at the next team meeting. You arrive home around 16:00, where you finish up your work day. You are supporting your colleagues in organizing a knowledge session on ESG & Sustainability for a Dutch investor and need to finish your input to the workshop materials. You make a quick call to a colleague to get their last input, make the final adjustments to the documents, and shut down your laptop. **What do you have to offer us?** + You are in possession of a completed HBO or WO education; + You have 4-5 years of work experience in making the built environment more sustainable and are used to working in complex projects; + You have a sound understanding of regulations and trends in the field of subsidy and funding; + You have solid track record in successfully delivering subsidy and funding advice to real estate decision-makers; + You have practical experience in applying key sustainable financing schemes to real estate projects in the Netherlands. + You maintain a network of industry peers amongst, for example, investors, developers and users of real estate that are active in the Netherlands; + You are goal-oriented, pragmatic, quality-conscious, able to make quick and informed decisions, and work well in a team environment; + You are motivated to connect substantive knowledge to commercial opportunities, have the right communication skills to advise clients on a tailor-made basis; + You enjoy and have practical experience in coaching others to success; + You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, in Dutch and English. **About CBRE Advisory** At CBRE, it doesn't matter whether you are an experienced professional or a young talent, and in which position you play.
