The Role
We’re looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant’s industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Responsibilities
· Understand the client’s business context and the problem statement defined as part of revenue management initiatives.
· Ability to break down the problem statement into smaller and logical analysis items
· Leverage the analytical skills to solve problem at scale
· Storytelling based on observations from data
· Present the key insights/findings from the analysis to drive the actions and next steps
· Capitalize on successful project outcomes in pursuit of further client business partnering and involvement with the client’s development of strategic digital transformation roadmaps;
· Collaborate with and influence Cognizant project resources (e.g., service lines, SBUs, on/offshore delivery teams) and Partners on behalf of project goals, often-changing client needs, and ultimately client delight;
· Leverage specific engagement solutions as marketable Cognizant solution offerings;
· Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organizations.
· Participate in PeopleCare activities; Mentor and support less experienced Consultants for the benefit of the practice.
Qualifications
Mandatory experience:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications preferred, but not mandatory
· 5 + years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within Transportation and Logistics industry
· Good understanding of transportation and logistics business domain – transportation management system(TMS), freight brokerage, supply chain functions
· Ability to provide consulting services to the customer by understanding the business context , ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
· Convert the problem statement into data analysis tasks and ability to analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
· Provide functional clarifications and guidance to BI developer who will be performing data extraction and Power BI report/dashboard building.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams
· Travel based on business requirements
Preferred experience:
· Understanding of business domain of asset based trucking players in revenue management space
· Exposure to Reporting/dashboard tool – Power BI
· Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes

Work Authorization
· Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 to $129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
