Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently seeking an experienced Senior Contaminated Sites Lead in its Edmonton, AB office to join our team and support our Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation/Risk Assessment practice in Alberta. The successful candidate will be involved in business development, proposal preparation, managing and directing projects, client communications, supervising junior/intermediate field staff, and issuing professional reports.
Business development (client meetings, networking) Preparation of proposals for a variety of clients Project management (budget, scope, etc.) Client communications Supervision of junior and intermediate professionals Report reviews Developing, growing clients and the teamWhat your experience looks like
Minimum of 15 years of environmental consulting experience in Alberta, including submissions to Alberta Ministry of Environment & Protected Areas and the Alberta Energy Regulator for environmental approvals Demonstrated experience with environmental investigations and remediation of oil and gas sites University degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or Sciences Professional status as a Professional Engineer, Geoscientist, or Professional Agrologist Demonstrated Alberta experience with effective project management and supervision of junior and intermediate team members to achieve project and client objectivesAbility to deal professionally and effectively with clients and co-workers Must have a valid driver’s license Strong communication and writing skills to create, edit, review, and write technical reports
