Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager for Science in the Schools Portfolio team, the Senior Content and Learning Specialist maintains closeness to the education market throughout the research, content creation, production and release-to-market phases of Secondary Science projects. They work closely with key stakeholders to lead projects and deliver high quality digital and print solutions and support and develop these at all stages of the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Work with local stakeholders and teams to develop innovative content and solutions Develop, maintain and monitor relationships with authors, content developers and other external stakeholders Maintain closeness to customers and the Secondary schools market and share knowledge Perform Science content development work as needed.Selection criteria
An undergraduate qualification in Science, Education or Communications/Publishing The ability and high motivation to design effective Secondary learning resources for educational outcomes A minimum of three years’ experience in developing content solutions for education, and a sound track record in leading delivery of new products to market High level analysis, writing, editing and organisational skills.At Pearson we value the power of an inclusive culture and a strong sense of belonging.
