Blue Origin is seeking a candidate for a unique and exciting marketing role—a video production and content expert who can produce high-quality digital assets -- while also serving as a main anchor for our live broadcasts and studio productions.
The majority of time for this role involves creating, editing, and posting video-centric content for Blue Origin’s various digital platforms that promote sales, customer experiences, branding, and employee successes. Reporting to our creative director, you'll act as a video journalist or influencer, seeking out proactive stories to tell and then planning and executing content on a near-daily basis. General responsibilities in this area include copy and script writing, camera operation and lighting, and final editing.
In addition, as a “face” of Blue Origin representing live and other studio productions, the candidate will have proven on-camera experience, strong interviewing skills, and the ability to manage “breaking” and interrupt-driven news that can occur with any rocket launch, including real-time crisis management.
Ideal candidates have deep social media expertise and an on-camera presence, such as former broadcast journalists who are highly skilled videographers, writers, storytellers, and organized planners. In short, the successful candidate will be as comfortable behind the camera producing content as they are in front of it, promoting Blue’s effort to build a road to space for the benefit of Earth.
This is an individual contributor and in-office role with some travel required.
