The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Senior Contracting Officer.
Responsibilities Act as a business advisor, providing expertise on acquisition strategies, contract types, market research, and contracting methods, including sole source and competitive procedures.Prepare acquisition-related documents (e.g., Acquisition Research Center (ARC) postings, Acquisition Plans, and Contract Review Panel briefings).Conduct continuous compliance reviews and resolving contract performance issues.Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs), and Contracting Officers (COs) to provide daily financial and business management support.Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Source Selection processes.Identify and implement efficiencies to improve contract operations, documentation, and compliance.Develop and present contract-related recommendations to management, including resource allocations and corrective actions. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCIAbility to sit for, and pass, a CI Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in federal acquisition or contract management with a focus on pre-award and post-award processesCompetency in contract management tools, reporting systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
