Our work depends on a Senior Contracts Administrator joining our team to provide support and counsel to our program and proposal teams while ensuring GDIT's compliance with contractual terms and conditions and applicable law.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Conducts negotiation and administration of government contractsProvides advice on contract terms and conditions and applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Interacts with program managers, finance staff, subcontract professionals and others in a highly collaborative environment to ensure compliance and mission successCollaborates with other Contracts team members as needed for guidance and camaraderieAdministers contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product deliveryReviews solicitation requestsCoordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programsPrepares consulting agreementsPrepares and submits cost proposalsProvides contractual support in proposal developmentMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of Contracts Administration and/or Subcontracts Administration experience required.Required Experience: 5+ years of Contracts Administration and/or Subcontracts Administration experienceRequired Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteSecurity Clearance Level: None requiredRequired Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and processes. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills.Preferred Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Effective presentation skills and effective business writing.Location: This position will be onsite in our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite 5 days a week.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
