Our work depends on Senior Contracts Administrator joining our team to provide support and counsel to our program and proposal teams while ensuring GDIT's compliance with contractual terms and conditions and applicable law.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Conducts negotiation and administration of government contractsProvides advice on contract terms and conditions and applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Interacts with program managers, finance staff, subcontract professionals and others in a highly collaborative environment to ensure compliance and mission successCollaborates with other Contracts team members as needed for guidance and camaraderieAdministers contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product deliveryReviews solicitation requestsCoordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programsProvides contractual support in proposal development and submissionMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead

YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related experience in Contracts Administration is required.Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in Contracts AdministrationRequired Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteSecurity Clearance Level: None requiredRequired Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and processes. Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, and regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and CAS.Preferred Skills: Experience with negotiation and administration of Government contracts. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective presentation, communication, and business writing skills.Location: This position is a hybrid role working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. This role will require working onsite a minimum 3 days a week.US Persons required
