What you get to do:The responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Manager will include working closely with counsel, finance, business and sales teams to draft, review, analyze, revise and negotiate a wide variety of contracts with a focus on master services agreements and scopes of work for our SaaS products and services, and NDAs/confidentiality agreements. Experience with SaaS and technology agreements, including an understanding of privacy and data security, is strongly preferred. Review, analyze, draft and revise contracts in concert with sales leads, professional services leads and counselWork with internal and external stakeholders to carefully obtain and track the requirements needed for each contract, Coordinate and negotiate contract process with customer and vendor procurement teamsCollaborate on and assist with management of practical, organization-wide contract management process and system (Ironclad), overseeing the processes needed to create, execute and analyze contractsMaintain organized systems of digital contract recordsCommunicate and manage contracts workflowWhat you will contribute:You are driven to be precise and have proven ability to work effectively across a dynamic, fast-paced organization. You have experience and expertise in contracts management, preferably in the energy/utility industry. You are a committed, detail-oriented, thoughtful individual and bring operational excellence and a creative approach to your work. You are equally adept at working individually and collaboratively as part of a team. You can perform well under pressure and with tight time commitments.What you bring to Uplight:At least eight years of intensive experience with contracts negotiation and managementExperience working closely with or reporting to legal counselKnowledge of and experience with contract terms and legal requirements Ability to multitask, demonstrate organization, prioritization, and time management skills to ensure that work-related activities are completed in an accurate and timely mannerExcellent writing skills and ability to demonstrate clear and concise communicationCommitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and ability to work with highly sensitive data and informationExceptional communications skills to effectively deal with various levels of colleagues, management, and business partnersAbility to work across multiple productivity platforms and tools (MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets, Dropbox, Asana, Slack, etc.) Paralegal or additional qualifications in law strongly preferredBonus Points:Experience working for or with utility companies or related energy companiesDon’t meet every single requirement?
