The Opportunity:

KBR is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to work within our MSP Aerospace program

You will be responsible for undertaking procurement planning, tendering, and contract management activities whilst ensuring compliance to relevant legislation and defence procurement policies.

The preferred location is Sydney; however, KBR will consider ideal candidates from Brisbane as well.

Responsibilities:

Provide clear direction, assistance and services relating to procurement policy issues and commercial, financial investigation and technical aspects in support of contract management outcomes.Translate and apply legal principles, legislative and policy compliance obligations and critical commercial risk and performance requirements related to procurement and contract management.Administration and process invoices for CoA approval to meet payment terms as per contract requirements.Coordinate quotes and proposals through receipt and procurement for CoA approval.Support the development of contract documents and tools, including gap analysis of contract changes and issues as they arise.Support the management of contract deliverables and updates.Support product financial management and associated activities for CoA approval.Manage outstanding financial commitment to ensure no impact to capability.Monitor CoA contracts and associated deliverables for compliance and report any non-compliance in line with CoA process.Recommend rectification actions for contracts identified as being non-compliant.Report known changes and variations to contracts to CoA within an agreed timeframe.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

Experience with Defence contracting and procurement policy and methodology supported by relevant qualifications and experienceExperience in managing performance in a Complex Contract Management environmentCASG/Defence/Defence Industry experience desired

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding an NV-1 Clearance or above should apply.
