Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of contract management to support larger, moderately complex contracts that are critical to the success of our organization. In this role, you'll collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to effectively communicate and interpret operational processes, practices, and strategies. You'll also play an important role in optimizing processes, systems, and products by suggesting and implementing improvements. Your contributions will directly impact the development of new products and processes, driving measurable results that enhance business and functional outcomes.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs.
• Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers.
• Provides a proactive voice in the business process.
• Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepares bids and proposals.
• Prepares and conducts negotiations.
• Processes specifications, progress report, and other reports.
• Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments.
• Dedication to meet customer deadlines.
• Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial and US Government customers.
• Conducts change management process with internal team and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers.
• Utilizes contract sales order system to record contract awards and modifications.
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Compiles and analyzes data as required Maintains historical information for assigned contracts.
• Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).

• Negotiation experience.

• Demonstrated business acumen/finance experience.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc) are a strong plus.
