Job Description

Responsible for the life cycle of the project, from the concepting and estimating, design and programming phase, onsite commissioning, and support. Provide technical guidance to commissioning engineers and handle escalation issues. Design interfaces to devices such as network I/O, variable frequency drives, servos, camera/laser scanner ID systems, and scales. Customize standard products to meet the requirements of each project. Configure interfaces to WCS, WES, or other forms of host software systems based on customer requirements. Configure standard PLC programs for real-time control of automated equipment and collection of diagnostic and production data.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire lifecycle of projects, including concepting, estimating, design, programming, onsite commissioning, and support.Provide technical guidance to commissioning engineers and manage escalation issues.Design interfaces to devices such as network I/O, variable frequency drives, servos, camera/laser scanner ID systems, and scales.Customize standard products to meet the requirements of each project.Configure interfaces to WCS, WES, or other forms of host software systems based on customer requirements.Configure standard PLC programs for real-time control of automated equipment and collection of diagnostic and production data.Essential SkillsExpertise in PLC programming with Rockwell Software.Proficiency in HMI programming using FactoryTalk View, Ignition, Wonderware, Indusoft, or FT Optix.Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.Knowledge of 480v, 120v, and 24vdc control circuits.Understanding of industrial communication networks.Parcel industry experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Subject Matter Expert in Controls Engineering.Work Environment

Remote work with 40% travel to customer sites. Ideally, candidates should live within 4 hours of travel time to Louisville. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00
