Summary: Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with experience in control systems design, software documentation, and machine debugging.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience in controls engineering related to custom automation

Proficiency in PLC Programming from Scratch

At least 3 years of design experience utilizing AutoCAD software

Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc systems

Familiarity with AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Electrical, E-plan or SolidWorks Electrical

Knowledge of 2D inspection cameras - Cognex & Keyence

Ability to create electrical panel layouts, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics

Responsibilities:

Prepare control systems designs and utilize AutoCAD to create drawings including power distribution, PLC, main and station panel layouts, console layouts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation.

Write and document software.

Debug software post power-up to develop the machine into a production-worthy system.

Additional Information:

This role may require occasional evening and weekend work. Travel may be up to 10% or more per year.
