SENIOR CONVEYANCER
Minimum requirements:
A degree in Law (LLB) and admission as an Attorney and Conveyancer in South Africa An experienced conveyancer in a law firm or property law practice In-depth knowledge of South African property law,  regulations, and practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal research tools Oversee and execute all aspects of property conveyancing Draft and review property-related legal documents, such as sale agreements and title deeds Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes Manage conveyancing files and maintain accurate records and documentation. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior conveyancers and paralegal staff Stay informed about changes in property laws and regulations and implement necessary updates in processes Represent the firm in property-related negotiations and legal proceedings as required. Manage a team in the firm
