Overview
The responsibility of this role is to manage OI settlement, reconciliation, analysis, and monitoring the control points of XBS (Cross Border Services) Treasury.
•\tSpearhead Reconciliation related initiatives.
•\tConduct audit related activities for the OI settlement operations.
•\tConduct periodic internal audits within Treasury OI settlements operations.
•\tConducting effective liaison activities with settlement banking partners.
•\tLiaise effectively with OIs
•\tAnalyse AR/AP positions and report any discrepancies.
The role involves making decisions on how to handle discrepancies found in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable balances.
Relevant Experience:
•\tAt least 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the financial / banking sector.
•\tExtensive experience and a specialist in reconciliation related activities.
•\tGood knowledge of accounting concepts and Foreign Exchange calculations involved in cross border remittance transactions.
•\tAbility to interact with counterparty stakeholders which includes global banking and other financial entities.
•\tShould possess stakeholder management skillsets both external and internal.
•\tShould have excellent data analytical skills sets.
•\tShould be self-starter always look forward for potential solutions to solve problems.
•\tComputer proficiency with advanced knowledge of MS office applications particularly Ms Excel
•\tKnowledge of Macros will be an added advantage.
•\tAbility to create meaningful presentations.
