ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision Communications’ Content Distribution PartnerMarketing team is looking for a talented, driven, and experienced marketing Sr. Coordinator who has a strong interest in the media business and ever-evolving industry. Candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day account and project management and ongoing activities for Distribution Partner Marketing team. The role is responsible for supporting all aspects of partnership management including subscriber acquisition, engagement/retention campiagns, technical cooperation, partner marketing initiatives and any/all other efforts. Candidate will play a key role in multi-disciplinary coordination across business lines to ensure the success of those partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, proactive, and collaborative marketing professional with experience creating persuasive materials that align with sales and marketing goals and objectives. Responsibilities will include partner asset management, market intelligence, and a broad range of other strategic analysis.
Candidate will need to be able to thrive in a muti-stakeholder eneviroment. Success in this role will be dependent upon candidates’ ability to learn and adapt quickly, build internal and external relationships, anticipate team needs and be solution oriented when faced with challenges.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
Collaborate with all functional groups across the Distribution team to develop and maintain playbook/dashboard of top priorities
Project management and execution of designated partner campaigns, events and productions in conjunction with TU’s consumer marketing team and/or third-party marketing agencies
Develop ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations and other supporting materials/analyses for Senior Management as needed for specific department strategies
Manage promotional and asset toolkits and department operations to enhance distributor marketing efforts in support of TU’s programming priorities
Coordinate with programming team to ensure communication on programming priorities is current and provides distribution partners with the required lead time for promotion
Analytical thinking abilities shown to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and results
Understand, monitor, and report competitive programming, products and marketing trends in the marketplace and identify opportunities to address such competition. (including positioning of other programmers, offerings, and new initiatives in the OTT space (e.g. Hulu, Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Roku, Tubi, Xumo, etc. etc.)
Budget management for each project and understanding the individual cost elements and logistics of budget tracking
YOU HAVE:
Minimum 3 years of marketing and/or sales experience working in a client-facing role within in media (content distribution, distribution partner, or advertising agency with experience in digital preferred)
Experience working strategically with partners to create effective and value-added campaigns that drive growth, performance, and ROI
Experience developing creative, data driven presentations for clients and/or senior management
Skilled at independently interpreting distribution contracts and creating execution plan
Experience reviewing and analyzing media and consumer research to find sales stories
Advanced at Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other related business fields; or equivalent work experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (whether to senior management or external business partners).
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of internal and external constituents
Ability to thrive in a high pressure and rapidly changing environment
Highly organized, self-motivated, detailed, and resourceful team player - ensures that deliverables and deadlines are being met while delivering a high quality of output
Curiosity and drive to uncover root causes of unexpected outcomes
Technical aptitude with a creative mind
Team player with a "can-do" attitude, adaptable, responsive, and extremely organized
Spanish fluency and/or multi-cultural experience preferred
