Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Senior Corporate Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance and accounting team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters. We are seeking an energetic individual with strong attention to detail who will act as an integral member of the accounting team. This position will provide support to offices throughout the country. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirementsEnsure a timely and accurate month-end and year end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationsCollaborate across teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial resultsPrepare and review internal financial reportsProvide guidance and support to team membersSeamlessly share responsibilities with teammatesReview work and that of others for accuracy and relevanceResearch and otherwise assist with ad-hoc special projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant majorCPA requiredMinimum 3 years of public accounting (audit), 5 years of corporate GL/staff accounting, or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in a multi-entity environment is preferredIntermediate level proficiency in ExcelProactive and professional approach to responsibilities with an eye toward continual improvement of business processesProven history of effective communication and establishing relationships with internal and external clientsDemonstrate intellectual curiosity, seeking to understand the work of others and taking on additional work responsibilitiesManage workload and stress levels efficiently and professionallyDesired Skills:
