Kforce has a client in Irvine, CA that is seeking a Senior Corporate GL Accountant who will perform general ledger accounting tasks both within our Production environment. This role must be onsite 3 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Responsibilities: * Post journal entries that are complete, accurate, and in accordance with US GAAP * Support documentation for journal entries that meet internal documentation requirements as well as external audit standards * Audit support deliverables (e.g. -PBCs-) that are accurate and complete * Account reconciliations that are prepared completely, accurately, and on a timely basis * Ad hoc analysis of financial results as required by accounting management or other key stakeholders * New or updated process documentation in in-scope responsibility areas Financial & Regulatory Reporting: * Audit financial statements that are accurate, complete, and prepared in accordance with US GAAP * Regulatory filings that are accurate, complete, and in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements * Support documentation for financial statements and regulatory filings that meet internal documentation requirements as well as external audit standards
