The selected individual will play a pivotal role in helping to create, implement, maintain, and grow our global development programs and processes across the company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success and will be instrumental in empowering our teammates to fully embrace Owen's & Minor's core values, mission, vision, purpose, and IDEAL Leader Model to own and drive their development. As part of the Global Leadership Development (GLD) team, this role will collaborate with a diverse range of teammates and leaders (at all levels), HRBPs, and key business stakeholders across the company.
Core Responsibilities
Works with GLD leader to deliver on key pieces of the global development strategyEffectively teams with the GLD leader to use data to aid in the development, rollout, facilitation, communication/marketing, and maintenance of core global teammate development tools, resources, workshops, programs, processes, and initiativesTeams with GLD leader to help select training tools and training delivery mechanisms, based on the content being facilitated, feedback from the business, and the target audiencePossesses familiarity with developing, implementing, and utilizing pre- and post-benchmark and program/workshop surveys to consistently enhance and adjust global development offerings and measure the ROI/capabilities of participantsCan effectively create, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures/Governance for development materials, including but not limited to job aids, quick reference guides, tools, resources, workshops, and programsDevelops, implements, and facilitates high-impact development workshops and programs to build strong capabilities of teammates and leaders throughout the organization5+ years’ experience in utilizing a variety of instructional design and facilitation techniques or formats that enhance the learning process and tie back to adult learning theory5+ years’ experience in using learning technology (such as Cornerstone LMS) to deliver hybrid and e-learning training and track enrollments/completions5+ years’ experience in implementing and utilizing strong project and program management skills to implement plans and use tools effectivelyPerforms special projects and completes all other duties as assignedCapabilities & Experience Needed
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Leadership Development/Management, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred (May consider equivalent work experience)5+ years’ experience using a consultative approach with all key stakeholders; has strong communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all levels5+ years’ experience in summarizing and communicating complex ideas with a strong sense of how teammates and leaders think, operate, and absorb development concepts and informationHas strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate within the GLD team on industry best practicesAbility to operate through ambiguity across multiple priorities and know when and where to escalate complex issues for final resolutionPossesses the ability to think outside the box to find new and innovative ways of approaching development needs in a global environmentMust be able to perform work and thrive under minimal supervision (virtual work environment) Must be flexible and adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environmentProficient in leveraging key Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms, Publisher, SharePoint, etc.) within daily work5+ years’ experience in using learning and development tools such as Cornerstone LMS, Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Canva, Mentimeter, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, etc. Experience in utilizing monday.com or similar project management tools Possess the ability and desire to stay current on industry trends, tools, and techniquesExperience in designing, implementing, and maintaining global onboarding and employee experience programs a plusObtained industry facilitation and debrief certifications such as DDI, Franklin Covey, CCL, Vital Smarts, CliftonStrengths, DISC, etc. a plusATD, SHRM, or other industry experience and/or certifications a plusAdditional Information
