Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team on a 5-month contract basis. This role involves month-end reporting, project accounting, sales and margin analysis, and management of the standard costing system. The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems.

ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end close for Inventory/Purchasing and Accounts Receivable close and reconciliation.Conduct project accounting with monthly review margins and processing.Perform sales and margin analysis.Process month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and recharges.Handle fixed asset accounting.Reconcile month-end bookings.Perform balance sheet reconciliations.Manage and own the standard costing system.Analyze data for cost and manufacturing within the business.Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge and experience in cost accounting.General knowledge of accounting policies.High proficiency in Excel and other MS Office products.Clear and concise communication skills.Ability to challenge the norm and look for better solutions and processes.Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems, BPC, and SAP.BS or BA Degree in a relevant field.5-7 years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP and system implementation.Strong analytical skills.Work Environment

This position is on-site, within a publicly traded company that is part of a billion-dollar organization. The role may convert to a full-time hire (CTH) based on performance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00
