As a Senior Cost Analyst, Procurement, your primary responsibility is to gather, analyze, and quantify cost data related to product costs and business operations. The role involves supporting management by providing data-driven insights, cost-benefit analysis, and contribute to the development of pricing strategies. This is on onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Do

Support the Global Sourcing & Procurement team to provide value-added quantifications of purchase price variances and manufacturing costs.Ensure costs and pricing within the cost tracking system are accurate and timely.Verify quantifications and functions within cost tracking system are running smoothly.Serve as the owner of financial cost processes and support Senior Management and key stakeholders to gain understanding of key revenue and cost drivers.Work with finance team for analysis and key business changes that impact the division.Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actuals costs.Will be integral player in development of LBE (forecast) templates utilized by the department.Create cost models to help estimate and project future expenses.Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc.

Experience You'll Bring

Required

Bachelor’s degree, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.Minimum 1 year in Procurement or Souring; Finance or Cost Accounting.Intermediate to Advanced Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS.Ability to present findings and insights clearly to management and cross-functional teams.Excited to work with numbers and has analytical mindset.Excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills.Detailed-oriented.

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
