As a Senior Cost Control Engineer, you will play a vital role in cost management, focusing on developing accurate cost forecasts for capital investments.
Utilizing your strong risk management and analytical skills, you will assess project costs, identify potential financial risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
**As a Senior Cost Controls Engineer, you create chemistry by...**
• Providing cost control for capital investments of various sizes and complexities.
• Participating in the overall cost control processes, ensuring effective progress tracking and change management systems during the detailed engineering and construction phases of projects.
• Performing studies and analyses, developing cost forecasts, and preparing comprehensive cost reports and cash flows.
• Identifying and proactively communicating any cost trends, offering variance explanations and root cause analysis as needed.
• Conducting bid analyses for complex service contracts, auditing invoices, evaluating field change orders, and validating contractor estimates and pricing.
• Collaborating in the development and enhancement of cost controlling tools and processes.
**If you...**
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, Business, Mathematics or related fields.
• Possess 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, or Construction practices within a chemical, petrochemical, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Have understanding of risk management principles is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office as well as SAP is preferred.
