Senior Cost Manager-Mission Critical

Due to continued sustainable growth in the high -tech Industry Sector with specific focus on Mission Critical Data Centres and Semi-Conductor Manufacturing we are seeking to add to our established Cost Management team. You'll be trusted to lead your allocated team and supported to develop further, through a portfolio of structured training and opportunities to help expand your career.

Your purpose:

Further enhance our Cost Management capability including leading on the development and use of Power-BI.Lead our community of practice and drive technical excellence, service innovation and supporting with the development of our benchmarking capabilities.Unlock talent and develop next generation of leaders.Deliver excellent client service on our commissions through quality assurance and regular client care.Develop, mentor and support your teams on project / technical delivery.

What you will bring:

Degree qualified in a construction or finance related field Preferably Chartered with RICS, ACostE, MAPM or similar.Data Centre, high-tech or rapid growth industry experience preferred (but not essential). Ability to inspire and motivate teams and unlock future talent for the business.An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Work Breakdown Structures and methods of measurements (e.g. RMM, MMHW etc). Proven track record of service innovation, technical excellence and exceptional service delivery.Technical ability to challenge engineering teams and identify/cost efficient design solutions.Commercial and quantity surveying skills or Finance skills, with full working knowledge of the construction industry, NEC Form of Contracts, and their commercial basis.Expert level and ability to develop and understand performance measurement of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques. Proficiency in using Excel and Cost Ex. Ideally (but not essential) proficient in using Bluebeam measurement and Yardi Cost Management software packages. Familiarity with Primavera P6.

Security clearance:
