FUNCTIONS
This job is part of the Legal Services job function, responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance in the ordinary and special activities of the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Works under general direction of the Legal Services job function and Head of Legal Iberia, but largely self-directed in the conduct of day-to-day duties.
+ Responsible for handling ordinary course and complex matters and projects which may have a material financial impact on business activities and operations.
+ Provides legal counsel and guidance to managers, market leaders, executives and other employees on legal aspects of the Company's various business lines.
+ Maintains current knowledge of the law in areas of special interest to the Company while providing sound business acumen and knowledge of the business goals and objectives as they relate to the matter at hand.
+ Conducts legal training sessions and prepares training materials for the Company's training plan and lines of business.
+ Integrated in the Legal Department, within the central services area of CBRE, you will be responsible for the following functions:
+ Ability to present information while having an executive presence.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ Legal advice to the Company and to all business areas, which implies the necessary knowledge of all branches of law, ranging from civil, commercial, and corporate aspects, real estate, technology, intellectual and industrial property, regulatory, etc.
+ Reviewing, drafting and advising on the negotiation of all types of contracts.
+ Resolution of general legal queries
+ Handling of non-judicial claims at the initial request stage, including analysis, advice and preparation of written submissions.
+ Support in the coordination of the Company's internal legal procedures, ranging from administrative functions to support in corporate matters or the coordination of legal proceedings.
+ Support in the coordination of local insurance.
+ Review and supervision of compliance with the Company's corporate and _compliance_ policies and standards.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
+ Graduate in Law.
+ Bar Association membership.
+ Master's degree or postgraduate studies, preferably in corporate legal consultancy.
+ Experience in a prestigious law firm (3/6 years).
+ Ability to work in a team and under pressure, autonomy, efficiency, dynamism and proactivity, business orientation.
+ Ability to present information while having an executive presence.
