The Sr. Credit Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing the credit, collections and reconciliation processes on a multimillion-dollar portfolio, ensuring adherence to company policies, principles and guidelines.  This role will focus on maintaining effective control over the credit function while delivering exceptional service in the areas of credit assessment, collection efforts, financial reconciliation and resolution.  The group operates in a dynamic and fast paced environment, requiring a highly detailed-oriented professional with a strong work ethic.  The ideal candidate will possess the ability to meet deadlines, apply critical thinking to resolve challenges and proactively mitigate risks to ensure the organizations success.

How you’ll shape the future of the Credit Team:

Investigation, preparation and recommendation of credit limits for new and existing customers, adhering to company policyCoordination of credit limits within sites to ensure customer limits are not exceededConsistently monitor, review and update existing credit limits to reflect current sales projections and ordering historyPerform detailed analysis and credit reviews on new and existing customersMonitoring of receivables and collection of past due accounts on a multimillion-dollar portfolioImprove and maintain internal and external customer communication to build rapport and understand challengesProperly notate all account activity to provide transparency and account statusManage orders on hold and complete timely resolution and adhere to the department 48-hour release KPISafeguard assets by control and collection of receivables timely to eliminate delinquencyPreparation of files, documents on bankruptcy, write offs, refunds, offsets and escheatment for customer accountsAnalyst D&B, Kreller, customer financial statements along with bank and trades to assess credit worthiness for new and existing customers to manage and eliminate riskEstablish payment plans for customers experiencing financial distressAdvise, recommend and/or provide pertinent credit information to Sales, Customer Service, Transportation, Accounting and Treasury to facilitate timely communication of issues and concernsManage multiple and conflicting deadlines ensuring all work is completed as expectedSpecial projects as requiredAdditional duties as assigned

You’ll be someone who can bring:

Bachelors Degree in Business or related fieldMinimum of 5-10 years progressive work experienceStrong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business contactsStrong understanding of financial statements and ratio analysisStrong SAP and Microsoft Office 365 knowledgeExpert Excel knowledgeStrong understanding of credit ratings with various credit reportsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to multitask to meet deadlines
