Responsibilities: This person will develop, implement and monitor programs and procedures to assure correct accounting of all transactions of the Crop Protection Division. Coordinate the administrative activities to ensure timely customer billing, vendor payment, and vendor program reporting while maximizing company cash flow. Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Crop Protection vendor programs. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all purchase and sales transactions for all products in the Crop Protection Division and validate margins and units of measure Work with warehouse to keep DOT Hazardous material description accurate in VanGuard  Develop procedures to track and distribute Vendor rebates Work closely with outside vendors and product managers to ensure compliance with all criteria required to maximize rebates offered  Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly Analyze data for sales, expenses, and margins as requested by the Vice President and Division Manager Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Crop Protection programs Analyze early order programs and prepayment programs to help maximize profitability

Qualifications 

B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
