Senior Custody Product Manager

As our Senior Custody Product Manager you will: + Shape the overall custody value proposition in the USA for safekeeping and settlement, asset servicing and custody tax. USA is a market used by all our Global custody clients (~20% of all Global Custody assets - 500 clients) with unique settlement nuances to the US market across equities, bonds or mutual funds + Closely follow the custody and regulatory impacts in the US with the regulator, HSBC reg compliance and legal; adjust the custody offering accordingly; perform custody market advocacy with DTCC, Fedwire, AGC + Support the local product execution of the HSBC Securities Services US custody strategy + Be the Securities Services custody product contact for solutions related to HSBC Prime Finance USA + Support custody changes in the Americas for the global custody client base and impacts to operating model + Offer general custody product expertise to support our global DCC client base based in the USA in local meetings + Drive and manage the products with the objective to contribute to the improvement of the overall profitability of Securities Services, to enhance the client experience + Grow and maintain the overall assets under custody of HSBC Securities Services, while promoting client satisfaction, digitization, scalability and innovation + Take a pro-active approach in developing a comprehensive understanding of the development of the global securities services market + Represent HSBC externally and internally with authority in matters relating to Custody. This will include amongst other clients, regulators, advisers etc. For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $178,000.00 and $150,000.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location. Additionally, HSBC offers a wide range of competitive and flexible benefits designed to help you improve your health and well-being, finances, and lifestyle. **Qualifications** You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: + Experience in custody and securities services + Expert knowledge of the post trade environment in the US market + Experience in product management, development and risk management + Proven track record in driving innovation and demonstrating thought leadership + Knowledge of global market infrastructure + Strategic and creative thinker + Result oriented, able to drive ‘think client’ and ‘think P&L’ approach within defined risk parameters + Able to manage a complex and multi-disciplinary global environment (‘building bridges’) + Strong leadership qualities of decision making, authority and people motivator + Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
