Within the Automotive/Embedded Customer Quality organization in the Global Quality Department, the role will be responsible for quality support for automotive and embedded customers in Korea.
Analyze and negotiate quality and reliability requirements and agreements, and handle quality and reliability prerequisites. In this role, you will act as a product liaison and communicate with customers on post-qualification quality and reliability topics. Interact daily with customers and regularly with field application engineers and internal partners to maintain alignment on quality and reliability issues and develop customer relationships. As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for quality and reliability metrics and develop plans to drive Micron to the number 1 quality ranking with our customers.
Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Global Quality/Customer Quality Senior Engineer at Micron, you will be the main person to customer-facing function, taking your customers’ quality requirements and needs so that Micron is able to deliver outstanding Customer Quality Experience. You will contact to customers proactively to assess their needs and to follow up with your internal quality or other value chain contacts.

Master’s degree - Engineering – Electrical, Electronics or Physics Engineering or related field of study (Physics, Material Science, …)5-year experience in Semiconductor field At least 3-year experience in Quality and/or Customer Applications/Systems, preference for experience in qualification, production or product/system engineering for memories. Works directly with customers on quality and reliability related issues, customer requirements, audits, and product information requests. Requires a wide range of basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and applications in order to logically assess customer related quality and reliability issues. Requires familiarity with industry-standard practices and terminology and company manufacturing methods, conventions, and relevant systems in place.
