OpenText is looking for an IT Senior Cutover Manager as part of the Release & Cutover Management team.  We are currently building our team presence in Canada and this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of corporate transformation programs.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

 

Planning, management and execution of the deployment activities to deliver a smooth transition to live environmentCollaborate with project managers, functional leads, technical teams, third-party vendors and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on cutover tasks.Identify and mitigate risks associated with cutover activities, ensuring contingency plans are in place.Oversee the execution for mocks, dress rehearsal and cutover to production, in adherence to planned schedules.Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders at all levels regarding cutover progress, risks, and issues.Maintain detailed documentation of cutover plans, procedures, and outcomes, including Lesson Learned

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

 

Proven experience in running complex multi functional cutover activitiesStrong experience in managing data migration and system cutover activitiesAbility to coordinate technical activities with technical and business teams within and outside the organizationDemonstrated ability to lead and manage complex cutover activities in large-scale SAP programs.Effective communicator who can work seamlessly with technical/ non-technical resources.Must be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills and a CAN-DO attitude.Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.Self-driven and proactive attitude to identify risks/issues and to mitigate/solve them.Solid writing and communication skills

 

Experience:

Cutover Management: 8 years+ (Required)Knowledge of SAP Products and SaaS products like Salesforce, Success Factors, Ariba, etc. (Required)Understanding of finance business processes (preferable)

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree
