Senior Cyber Security Analyst

At Nissan Mexico we are strengthening our NIHUB. Within the Cybersecurity area we are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst.

The Information Security Cyber Defense Analyst is a technical role in the security organization that plays a pivotal part in protecting the company’s information assets globally. The mission of this role includes, but is not limited to, email analysis/triage (SPAM, Phishing, and Malicious Campaigns), incident handling and response, 1st level triage of network alerts, managing security and incident tickets, threat detection and IOC development, developing incident reports, and escalating cyber security issues to Sr. analysts & management for review.

Duties and Responsibilities

This job position will be located in the Mexico and will be responsible for supporting the Nissan Americas region with cybersecurity responsibility for the US/Canada, Mexico, and LATAM.  The position is based in Mexico City, Aguascalientes or Toluca.

What you need to have:

At least 5 to 7years experience in cybersecurity monitoring and response or related experience.

Advance English proeficiency

Bachelor Degree

You should have:

Highly technical and analytical expertise, with a proven deep background in technology design, implementation, and delivery.

Extensive knowledge of traditional security controls and technologies, such as SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, public key infrastructure (PKI), IDAM systems, antivirus, and firewalls, in addition to newer offerings such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration, deception technologies and application controls.

Experience driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale.

Experience administering SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, threat intelligence, security automation and orchestration solutions, IDS/IPS, file integrity monitoring (FIM), data loss prevention (DLP) and other network and system monitoring tools.

Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively

Responsibilities:

Monitor alerts for all Americas

Monitor security feeds/news, emails, and alerts from security tools to identify potential threats.

The analysts investigate alerts and security incidents and determine their severity and impact.

Also work to contain threats and restore normal operations. SOC analysts collaborate and work with other teams within the Information Security group, IS/IT Operations and the business monitoring this systems alerts, threat hunting, cybersecurity duties.

Support to build out any new type of cybersecurity designs or implementations that the team may require.
