Senior Cyber Security Engineer
SENIOR CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER   Location: Onsite in Panama City Beach, Florida    About ISPA: ISPA is at the forefront of providing innovative technical and cybersecurity solutions to government and commercial sectors. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. This role is critical in enhancing our cybersecurity framework and ensuring our systems and operations achieve and maintain the highest standards of security compliance.    Position Overview: The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will spearhead our efforts to ensure robust cybersecurity across Navy programs. This role demands comprehensive experience with DoD cybersecurity programs, in-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and a proven track record of securing Authority to Operate (ATO) for complex systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the intricacies of cybersecurity compliance within the DoD landscape.    Key Responsibilities:  Lead the implementation and documentation of the RMF process to secure ATO for all relevant systems and sensors within the specific Navy program.  Utilize Navy Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) for documentation, vulnerability management, and compliance tracking.  Coordinate effectively with the Navy Certifying Authority (CA) and the Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) throughout the RMF process, ensuring clear communication and alignment on compliance requirements.  Proactively monitor and track ATO authorization dates, initiating new RMF packages well in advance to avoid any lapses in authorization.  Conduct thorough evaluation, assessment, and monitoring of new and existing products against applicable cybersecurity standards (APLs, Common Criteria, DoN DADMS, STIGs, IAVM, etc.), ensuring ATO-compliant architectures.  Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity documentation suite that supports all compliance and authorization activities.    Requirements:  A minimum of nine (9) years of experience in cybersecurity roles supporting DoD programs, with a specific focus on RMF process documentation and ATO attainment.  Proficient in using eMASS and VRAM tools, with a solid understanding of their application within the RMF process.  Demonstrated experience coordinating with DoD CA and NAO entities.  Expertise in the evaluation and compliance of cybersecurity standards, including APLs, Common Criteria, DoN DADMS, STIGs, and IAVM.  Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple authorizations and compliance timelines simultaneously.  U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.    What We Offer:  A role at the cutting edge of cybersecurity within the defense sector.  Opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.  Competitive compensation and benefits package.  The chance to contribute to critical national security objectives.      ISPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
