MAG is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a new multidisciplinary Product Office at Fort Belvoir, VA. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award, which is projected in April or May 2025. 100% onsite work is currently anticipated. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate integration of cybersecurity into product life-cycle design, development, and deploymentTranslate military operational and mission requirements into practical systems concepts and performance requirementsAssist on all matters relating to the vulnerabilities and threats to IT systemsExecute certification and accreditation activities, including building and shepherding of RMF packagesEnsure successful implementation of assigned security controlsImplement audit measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsParticipate in system fieldings, operations, and upgradesAssist Program Management Offices with cybersecurity-related acquisition documentationEnsure adherence to DoD Inspector General (IG) Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist compliance and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)Participate in organizational inspections and surveys of computer systems; provide inspection results and assess the adequacy of corrective actionsAdvise on complex and unique computer security systems, make recommendations on the approval of various computer operations, and provide alternatives to meet security requirementsAssist in developing, maintaining, implementing, and delivering a formal training and education program for computer and information securityManage computer incident coordination and notificationGenerate reports, produce briefings, and assist with contract deliverablesDevelop SOPs and templates for standardizing and streamlining cybersecurity process across the product officePrepare and review cybersecurity strategies, test plans, procedures, and reportsReview and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity related specification requirements, monitor and assess field performance, and assess risk of meeting user and specification requirementsAssist with cost, schedule, performance, and risk analysesAssist with contract deliverablesAssist with IT/cyber tasks in adjacent product offices or the higher project office, as needed RequirementsKnowledge and Skills
Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practicesExpertise in RMF (Risk Management Framework) implementation and documentationExperience with audit planning and executionStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teamsDemonstrated project management skills for cybersecurity initiativesExperience developing standard operating procedures and templatesExperience with secure software development lifecycle integrationKnowledge of cloud security principles and implementationExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
B.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Science10 years of relevant work experience; Army SETA experience preferredCurrent SECRET security clearance (verifiable in DISS)Current IAM III certification (CISSP, CISM, or GSLC) Special NoteThe position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130000 to $160000 (annualized USD).
