Your Impact
+ Lead the design and analysis of dam structures, including earthfill, rockfill, concrete gravity, and arch dams.
+ Oversee the construction and maintenance of dams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
+ Conduct site investigations and assessments to determine the feasibility and safety of dam projects.
+ Prepare detailed engineering reports, designs, and technical specifications.
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, hydrologists, and environmental scientists.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
+ Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations throughout all project phases.
+ Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential dam failures or issues.
+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
+ Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote WSP’s and your profile.
Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in dam engineering or a related field.
+ Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
