Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Providence, RI
Client currently seeks a "Senior Data Analyst” to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island
Responsibilities:Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and "clean” data, and review reportsexecutes data quality strategies in line with the organization`s strategic plan and goals.Execute data quality rules and definitions consistent with Business strategies.Develops data quality metrics that identify gaps and ensure compliance with standards across the organization.Follows data quality process, governance, and issue tracking process tools.Establishes processes to continuously monitor data quality.Ensures processes are in place to proactively detect, correct, and prevent invalid data values.Assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues, conducting queries and retrieving data from various systemsDevelop solutions for automating complex repeatable queries that normalize and cleanse data.Requirements8+ years of relevant experienceExperience in Healthcare Payer domainExcellent database skills – Oracle, NetezzaExcellent Knowledge in any one of ETL toolsResource should be experienced in methods of Data profiling and Data CleansingCapable to analyze data and do Root cause analysisability to prepare and present data flow diagram and data quality standards and metrics.Ability to articulate technical specifications, business requirements and systems specificationsStrong communication skills and the ability to translate highly complex technical issues to non-technical audience.
