The Senior Data & Analytics Specialist will collect, analyze and visualize data from various sources to help the Service business make data-driven decisions. This person will have the opportunity to help frame the narrative behind the numbers impacting the Service business through fact-based story telling. Further, this specialist will be a stakeholder in improving the data management strategy for the Service business.
Responsibilities Assemble data from multiple data sources into easy-to-digest formats such as dashboards, scorecards, and presentations to meet stakeholders’ needsInterpret data using trend and correlation analysis, provide context for findings, highlight confounding variables, and provide insight into exceptionsDefine and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solutionDevelop metrics, techniques, and dashboards for insights and data visualization required by the business to support strategic decision-makingGenerate and distribute reports on a routine basis to internal stakeholders Find opportunities for improvement that deliver efficiency and productivity benefits and/or monetary valueKeep abreast of developments in the data analysis industry, act as a thought leader by engaging colleagues in active dialogue regarding industry trends and recommendations and implement best practicesRespond to ad-hoc data requests and perform analyses QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, analytics, computer science, statistics or related field5+ years of experience collecting data from disparate sources, identifying trends, and providing insightful recommendationsStrong SQL skills for querying relational databases and performing data analysis, with aptitude for learning other analytical tools (R, Python)Proficiency using PowerBI to build, deploy, and maintain interactive dashboardsProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteExtracting and reporting from SAP Analysis for Office and Salesforce Service Lightning is beneficialShown success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment #LI-Hybrid
