Role OverviewChartis is seeking a Senior Data Associate to join our team. Data Associates are integral members of our Advanced Analytics Team, playing a vital role in internal research and development initiatives while also contributing to client-facing projects and materials. They apply advanced data management techniques and sophisticated analytical tools and skills to derive compelling quantitative findings from large datasets. This role will be closely aligned with the Chartis Center for Burnout Solutions, working collaboratively to help address provider burnout and improve nurse and physician retention, safety, and satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesSurvey design and management: Design and build custom surveys within SurveyMonkey, including complex branching logic; maintain and deploy surveys; ensure accurate integration between SurveyMonkey and Power BI dashboardsSurvey analysis: Export and clean raw data; determine parameters of reliability; perform advanced analyses, such as multiple and logistic regressions; conduct reliability checksSurvey reporting: Monitor and provide response rates for survey completion to clients; create dashboards and/or integrate results with existing dashboards; develop internal and customer-facing reports, slide decks, and/or graphic representations of survey results; integrate qualitative data findings within reports outsData Management: Update and maintain data dictionary across projects; regularly update and maintain benchmarking database; conduct quarterly benchmarking analyses of salient metrics to inform changes to thresholdsQualifications and Desired SkillsAdvanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in social science, clinical psychology, social psychology, quantitative psychology, industrial organizational psychology, or similar field3-5 years of experience focused on psychometrics and data managementGenuine passion for improving healthcare using dataExtensive experience designing, deploying, and analyzing behavioral science surveysProficient in the following software: SPSS, Excel, online survey collection tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or REDCap, etc.). Proficiency in Power BI preferred but not required. Strong project management and organizational skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and qualityEffective communication skills for presenting findings to diverse audiencesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamFamiliarity with ethical considerations in survey research and data collectionAdaptability to evolving research methodologies, objectives, and prioritiesWillingness to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Salary range: $82,000-$122,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
